Vitamin D supports healthy immune defence system and is important for bones and teeth. Vitamin D regulates the calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting their absorption from food in the intestines.
Cholecalciferol is a form of vitamin D (also called vitamin D3), which is isolated from lanolin found in sheep's wool.
