Description
The evening primrose oil in Glandincaps capsules is prepared by mechanical pressing without chemicals. Glandincaps contains plenty of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), essential fatty acids and vitamin E. The capsule shell is prepared from carrageen extracted from starch and seaweed thus is completely vegetal based. Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) forms prostaglandins, which are compounds with hormonal activity. Prostaglandin's favourable effects on hormonal balance, menstrual pain, fat metabolism and skin condition have been studied widely. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant preventing oxidation caused by free radicals. Vitamin E affects in a similar way as GLA thus the total effect of the capsules is more effective.
